Exercising properly while exercising is fun. Less amusing are a bright red head, blotchy skin from all the effort, skin irritation caused by the sweat and dry skin due to the increased loss of moisture. Factors such as allergies, clothing, weather and care additionally aggravate the irritations.

Although it can not be fully influenced how the complexion behaves after a strenuous workout, but at least some tricks can be taken to improve it a little.

Sport is good for the skin - actually!

Basically, the statement that sports - especially in the fresh air - the skin is good, absolutely correct. The circulation is stimulated and thereby the blood circulation promoted, whereby the skin looks beautiful rosy and radiant. And a few sunbeams are also doing well. Why? Because vitamin D is formed by the sun in the skin and this is responsible for many regulatory processes in the human body cells. For sports activities in the sun, but do not forget the UV protection! The lips are also happy about some care, while in the fresh air athletic is the thing.

In addition to the positive effects that sport can have on the skin, there are a few things that are rather annoying, such as: As strong redness, skin irritation, pimples and rash.

Reddened skin after exercise: This is how the complexion normalizes

A heavily reddened skin is probably the most unpleasant side effect after a sweaty sports session. Especially women with very sensitive skin are often affected. It causes irritation and redness all over the body. Luckily, there are ways to do something about it. The magic word is: anti-redness moisturizer. They are applied before sports and are enriched with nourishing ingredients such as aloe vera, liquorice root, zinc and thermal water, which protect sensitive skin and make it more resilient to external influences.

Also helpful: the good old washing gel for redness. Simply lather, apply after sports to the face and remove with cold water. Irritations that can occur on the skin through your own sweat, is thus effectively counteracted.

Pimple and rash: That helps against it

Those who have oily and greasy skin will know the problem after exercise: sweat, sebum and fat mix after a strenuous workout and the skin can not breathe properly - especially if the sportswear is not breathable. The result: pimples. Water-based gel creams are therefore ideal for physically active women with oily skin because they contain little fat and do not put themselves on the skin like a film.

Dry skin after exercise: add moisture

In sports, we get a good sweat and lose a lot of moisture on the skin. After showering you are pleasantly refreshed, but the skin often feels only drier. What helps is a good body lotion that moisturizes and nourishes the skin. For the sports bag are best Bodylotions that move quickly. So the tightening does not have to wait an eternity afterwards.
