Advertising with message

The poster on the platform is outrageous. The advertising of the Swedish Children's Cancer Foundation is currently pausing the passengers for a moment.

The idea brought a Swedish advertising for shampoo. Some time ago, the brand impressed the passengers with a moving poster on the platform. Every time a train pulled in, the model's hair was blowing in the wind.

This technique is now used in Sweden for a much more serious topic: The Children's Cancer Foundation seems to promote with almost the same poster. The only difference is the end of the advertising, which does not impress the passengers, but leaves them shocked.

But first, the advertising starts as usual. A train comes in, the pretty young girl's hair blows wildly in the wind. Spectators take pictures, children laugh enthusiastically . When the train comes to a halt, however, the poster stops the whole platform. The girl's hair has disappeared and with them the laughter on the faces of the passers-by, who freeze at the message. The poster shows the 14-year-old Lynn. She is suffering from cancer.

The quick change of feelings from enthusiasm to concernment is hair-raising. The advertising of the Swedish Children's Cancer Foundation calls for donations. The Foundation would like to remind people for a moment in their everyday lives of what is commonplace for the initiators: every day, a child is diagnosed with cancer.

The poster fulfills its purpose, because the message arrives. Passers-by miss their train and stop for a moment. Suddenly a whole platform is standing still.
