In most girls, vagina and uterus begin to grow at the age of about nine to 13 years. During this time, the vulva also changes : The first hair sprouts, the pubic mound bulges, also labia and clitoris are getting bigger. At the age of about eleven to 14 years, the first menstrual period begins.
External sex organs
The vulva consists of pubic mound (mound), the labia and labia minora, clitoris (clitoris) and vaginal entrance. The job of the labia is to protect the clitoris, urethral opening and the entrance to the vagina. The outer labia extend from the pubic mound to the anus. These are skin folds, the inner labia, which grow together at the top. So they form a protective hood for the most sensitive pleasure organ of girls and women: the clitoris. Internal sex organs
The ovary and fallopian tube provide an egg each month for fertilization. The uterus is responsible for pregnancy, bladder and urethra for urine. The vagina (vagina) is a muscular and flexible, about eight to ten inches long hose. Through this flows the menstrual blood and also the outflow, with which bacteria and germs are excreted. Appearance
Vulva: Just as every face looks different, so does the appearance of the vulvae. The color can be from light pink to dark, almost black. Also size and shape are slightly different for each girl. Most of the four labia (labia) are of different lengths. The inner ones may be narrow and hidden, but often they protrude between the outer labia. That's perfectly normal.
Hymen: This soft hem of elastic fabric surrounds the vaginal entrance and can have very different shapes. The expansive openings eliminate discharge and menstrual blood. As a rule, this fabric is particularly elastic so that a girl can easily use tampons without damaging them.

In normal condition, the vulva is relaxed. If the girl is sexually aroused, the clitoris increases by two to three times. The labia swell and expand to the outside. At the same time, the inner lips turn pale red, and the so-called "Bartholin glands" but a few drops of liquid.
