We love scarves! When it gets cold outside, we will not leave the house without the winter accessory. This year we are knitting our model ourselves.

Difficulty level: easy

Size: 29 cm wide, 180 cm long (without fringes)

Material:

Schachenmayr Highland Alpaca, each 400 g in jeans, Fb 02963 and in Fango, Fb002977
1 circular needle 12 mm
thick crochet hook for tying the fringes
Wool embroidery needle without lace

Structural Patterns:

M number divisible by 8 + 9 mesh (M) + 6 M patrol. Work in rows (R) according to the knitting pattern. The 1.-16. Repeat R always.

Patent border:

Work the margin on each side over 3 sts each.

In addition :

Work the first and last 3 sts as follows: Knit 1 st on the right; Take off 1 st, keeping the thread in front of work; Knit 1 st right.

In back orders:

Work the first and last 3 sts as follows: 1 sts off, keeping the thread in front of the st; Knit 1 st on the right; Take off 1 st, keeping the thread in front of the st.

Color sequence:

* 22 R in jeans, 26 R in fango, from * knit a total of 4x, then knit 1x 22 R in jeans.

Knitting tension:

In smooth right: 8 M and 10 R = 10 x 10 cm; in the structured pattern: 8 M and 12 R = 10 x 10 cm.

Knitting pattern for a scarf

Cast on 23 sts in jeans, knit every 23 sts in the 1st row back. Continue working in the pattern, paying attention to the color sequence. After 214 R = 180 cm in next row in jeans knit every 23 sts to the right. Cast off all sts on the right back row.

Completion:

Sew all threads. For the fringes cut 44 threads each 45 cm in length. For 1 fringe pair, lay 2 threads halfway and tie in with the thick crochet hook. In this way tie 11 pairs of fringe evenly along each narrow edge. Now shorten the fringe evenly to 18-20 cm.
