Healthy diet for a strong bladder

"Could I just rely on my bladder again !" In more than 6 million Germans a bladder weakness was noted. But the number of unreported cases is much higher: up to 40 percent of women over 60 suffer from involuntary urination.

Because with the menopause, the risk increases: Due to the declining estrogen, the mucous membranes of the bladder and urinary tract are poorly supplied with blood, the muscles of the vagina and urinary tract is flaccid, the uterus can lower. Bladder weakness is also an issue for many young women: About one in four people between the ages of 25 and 35 has difficulties at least temporarily - usually when they give birth to a child.

But you can do a lot for a strong bubble. Very important: do not drink too little, because then the bladder is missing an important workout. Simple exercises and a clever diet also strengthen the bladder.
