From old to new
Monochromatic tea towels get a new look with the stamping technique. This time it will be on time for the holidays Easter.
What you need for the tea towel:
- foam rubber
- double-sided adhesive tape (eg from tesa)
- Acrylic block (for silicone stamp 15 x 10 cm, 6, 99 €, www.idee-shop.com)
- Fabric paint in orange and green
- Tea towel or table runner
- pencil
- scissors
- fine bristle brush
- Iron
And that's how easy it is:
1. Draw the carrot with pencil on foam rubber.
2. Cut out the carrot.
3. Stick double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the sponge rubber.
4. Stick carrot on the acrylic block.
5. Coat stamp with fabric paint.
6. Press stamp on fabric and remove. Repeat according to the desired number. Let the paint dry and iron for fixing according to the manufacturer's instructions.
