Almost ten days after the tragic crash of Germanwings flight 4U9525 , the second black box was found.

She is just fist-sized and lay somewhere in the huge debris field of the plane crash in the French Alps. Now Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin announced that the second black box was finally found.

The flight data recorder in the black box records the technical data of a flight, such as the speeds and accelerations of the aircraft, altitude and attitude, course, engine data, flap positions, cabin pressure and the settings made by the pilot and much, much more.

So it can give the investigators a lot of insightful information. Accordingly, it is important to find the flight data recorder after a Flugabstuz.

While the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), which records all conversations and sounds in the cockpit, was found just one day after the crash, the Flight Data Recorder (FDR), the flight data recorder, was searched for today.

Both CVR and FDR are usually located in the rear of the aircraft, because this area usually has the slightest damage in the event of a crash.

Update 03.04.2014 11:48 clock:

The second black box confirms now according to official statements of the investigators the fall intention of the co-pilot Andreas L. The sad suspicion has thus been confirmed and there is finally an official answer to the question of "how could that happen?"
