Easter can come

Easter is fast approaching and we have a few pretty crafting ideas for her in the color combination of brown and pink. Simply fantastic!

You need this for paper eggs:

  • a sheet of paper
  • 3 different boards / papers
  • Sewing machine and yarn
  • pencil
  • scissors

And that's how easy it is:

1. On a piece of paper, draw out an 8 x 13 cm egg as a template and cut out.

2. Then transfer the template to the desired papers and cut out.

3. Place 6 cut eggs over each paper egg and stitch together in the middle. Possibly. Leave enough yarn to hang at the top. Knot the thread at the bottom.

You need this for the gift box:

  • Screw jars (eg old jam jars)
  • black spray paint (mtn-shop.de, MTN 94, 3, 75 €)
  • Paper straw (deco shop)
  • Easter eggs, chocolate Easter bunny
  • Drawstring, ribbon, pendant (eg from Depot)
  • Paper for the work surface

And that's how easy it is:

1. Unscrew the lids of the glasses, spray black and allow to dry well.

2. Fill the glasses, seal and decorate with different ribbons.

Info: Use spray paint on paper underlays only in well-ventilated areas or outdoors, wearing gloves and mouthguards.

That's what they need for the door wreath:

  • about 50 eggs
  • Styrofoam wreath about 30 cm
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue
  • 2 deco birds (eg depot)
  • bowl
  • dishwater

And that's how easy it is:

1. Open the eggs in the middle, empty them and wash them clean (so that the contents are not thrown away, maybe just in time to collect the bowls).

2. Glue the trays onto the polystyrene ring with hot glue.

3. The threads from the hot glue can easily be removed once they are cool.

4. Fix the deco birds with hot glue.

That's what they need for the gift:

  • Wrapping paper (eg Framställa from Ikea, set of 4 5.99 €)
  • Faux Leather Band
  • Pomponmaker (eg from Prym)
  • white thin wool
  • liquid adhesive
  • scissors

And that's how easy it is:

1. Cut the wrapping paper so that it protrudes at least 10 inches (30 cm) from the paper when knocked up.

2. Place the gift centered on the paper. Now fold up the paper on all sides, smooth out the front and back so that the folds are only on the two side walls.

3. Take the paper together at the top and knot it with the leather strap.

4. Divide the approx. 30 cm into two halves, if necessary cut with the scissors in the middle and shape into two rabbit ears. Again, the scissors helps with the rounding off.

5. For the pompon, wrap 2 semicircles of the pompom with wool as per the package instructions.

6. Put both wound halves together and cut the wool sideways with scissors.

7. Pass a double wool thread between the template sides and knit in the middle so that the wool will form the pompon. Leave the thread hanging long.

8. Remove the pompom template parts and, if necessary, slightly scrape the wool ball with scissors, ie cut the threads the same length.

9. Stick the pompon with adhesive on one of the smooth gift pages.
