He is a big guy on TV. But there is something else that is important to him ...
Early fall! The light falls through colorful leaves, as Florian Silbereisen (31) greets us at the lake house in Munich's English Garden. The showmaster is in the middle of planning for his "Spring Festival Tour" .
"There will be fun, mood and emotions, we want to surprise the audience, " he says in an exclusive interview.
The popular singer also surprises us. As we take a walk around the lake with him, he opens his heart, tells of his unknown past .
And it turns out that even as a little boy Flori was a real jack-of-all-trades. He roamed the woods with friends, playing Robin Hood. "The forest was only a few hundred meters away from home, so we could run riot and even have a wooden house, " he says with a smile.
Later, as a young man, he roared through the beautiful landscape of Bavaria with his motorbike, feeling free.
This time has shaped Florian. "It is an indescribable happiness to grow up so carefree, " admits the entertainer, who enjoys every minute of his life.
His soul is rooted in the love of nature; he knows where he is at home. "Even today, when I come home after the tour, I like to go through the woods, sit on a bench, let my mind wander and breathe the feeling of home."
Flori can also relax with his secret passion: cooking. He reveals: "Every now and then you meet friends and we have a men's night, everyone brings something along and then we prepare a three-course meal, so we have some really nice evenings."
Together with his friends, sitting around a table, Flori is important not only privately, but also on the upcoming tour.
"We have solid rituals, eat together and share with each other." For Florian Silbereisen that just feels right. "We're on the road like a little family and that's great."
Often the TV star, who like Helene Fischer (28) gives everything on stage, sits back and plays with his colleagues playing backgammon. This strategy game is a big hobby. "It's just great fun, " says Flori.
Does the eclectic entertainer, who presents "The Autumn Festival of Surprises" on October 13th, still have a dream? "The biggest dream is just coming true: I'm allowed to go on tour with many stars like Heino, Gotthilf Fischer and Marianne & Michael." And that is beautiful!
