The actor ('Men's Heart') and scriptwriter ('vincent will meer') admits that he invented 'David' in his name just to distinguish him from the television actor Florian Fitz ('Strangers, dear strangers'). He reveals to the 'Berliner Morgenpost': "My name is Florian Fitz, like him, but at the beginning it was very clear, you can not call it that David is just such an invention, to put something in between." However, the 36-year-old from Munich could not make friends with his new name. He confesses: "Now I'm angry that I'm carrying David around with me."
