Meat, milk and eggs as dangerous as smoking

Experts from the Longevity Institutes at the University of Southern California want to find that meat, milk and eggs are just as dangerous as regular cigarettes . In short, a protein-rich (animal) diet increases the likelihood of getting cancer or diabetes by 25 percent. Above all women and men of middle age are endangered, so the study.

Experts lift their fingers. The study has only the eating habits, but not taken into account aspects such as sports activity, alcohol consumption or pre-existing conditions, it is said in professional circles. A previous study has already shown that only the consumption of milk is questionable. Eggs can be eaten without hesitation.

As with everything, here too applies: Excessive consumption of animal protein is dangerous . Every now and then who enjoys an egg, a piece of meat or a glass of milk, lives healthy. Not to be underestimated, however, are the consequences of smoking. Almost 85% of all lung cancer cases can be attributed to smoking. This makes lung cancer the number one cause of cancer death even before breast cancer.
