Everyone wants something from you and where do you stay?

Career, household, children - and parents need help too. We women in mid-life often feel pressure from all sides. It is particularly stressful for women who are single parents and take care of the children without the support of their father. Do you know that, too? These little things can make your life much easier.

1. Think of your health

Be aware that you can only be there for your family and career when you are well and therefore take enough time for your body. Eat healthy, try to sleep well and move regularly. Do not make necessary visits to the doctor for other seemingly more pressing obligations.

2. Distribute the work at home

You do not have to do everything in the household alone: have the courage to give up tasks. Once the children are old enough, for example, they can take on small tasks in the household. Even siblings who do not live nearby should help care for their own parents. For example, by doing the paperwork.

3. Make something just for you

Even if you are very busy with job and family, there are always small windows. Instead of turning on the TV, you should spend time consciously with things that fill you - listen to your favorite music, read something or just jump on it - just do what's fun and give you energy.

4. Make smears

Get rid of the thought of having to do everything perfectly. In trying to give the perfect housewife, mother and daughter besides the job, you just rub yourself up. Nobody will mind if you do not iron every piece of clothing or just serve quick pasta with pesto at lunchtime instead of something extra.

5. Say no

You do not have to say yes to everything and amen. Do not worry, you will also like and appreciate you, if you say no, friendly but definitely. If you already have enough to do, you simply refuse little favors - and without a guilty conscience!

6. Get help

You are not only responsible for your family, but for yourself as well. That's why it's important that you do not overburden yourself.

If it is financially possible, a domestic help can relieve you wonderfully. In many cities, there are also volunteer senior caregivers who visit your parents to give you hours of air.

Make sure your soul is fine. Of course, nothing can take away the daily stress completely, but it helps to talk to a friend regularly.
