Ladies, there is good news. What always knew, has now been officially confirmed: The intrinsic values actually count in the attractiveness, because in a study has now been proven that a good character makes us beautiful.

That's what I call good news. Being a good person (or at least telling you that you are one) is also worth it on the beauty scale. Researchers at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China have found this out. In an experiment, they have proven that the beauty of a woman's face is better valued when the subjects think that the person has a great character.
In the first part of the study, 120 students (60 male and 60 female) were asked to rate the attractiveness of women using photos. The results were all similar. Two weeks later, the test subjects received a background story about the character of the depicted women. This time, they classified the faces completely different. The inner values evidently had a great influence on their perception of beauty.

Finally, women who had previously been rated as very attractive did not receive a good rating in the second round, for example when described as being mean. Conversely, women who had previously been classified as less beautiful but have now received positive traits were much better off.
