Sissi's heir marries

Wedding at the last minute. At present it is a little difficult for noble houses to plan the perfect time for a wedding - after all, the high-nobility of relatives should also be present. Archduke Christoph of Austria (24) brought his wedding date then just at the end of the year in the aristocracy calendar.

Christoph is the cousin of Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg (30) and paternal side with the royal lineage of Empress Sissi († 1898) knandelt. In the French town of Nancy, he now married his chosen one, the French diplomat's daughter Adélaïde Drapé-Frisch (23).

After the civil ceremony had already taken place a few days before, one could look forward to the church celebration on 29 December in the Basilica Saint-Epvre of Nancy on a royal show.

Present was mainly luxembourg nobility. Among others, Guillaume von Luxemburg and his Stéphanie (28), who did not marry until October , came .

Prince Félix of Luxembourg (28), newly engaged, arrived with his Bald-wife Claire Lademacher (27).

The parents of the bride and groom - Princess Marie-Astrid of Luxembourg (58) and Archduke Carl-Christian of Austria (58), as well as Philippe Drapé-Frisch and Odile Frisch - proudly presented themselves.

Archduke Christoph and his Adélaïde immediately proved that they are a wedding couple "of the people": The church was not closed to the ceremony and the newlyweds then shared their happiness with the approximately 800 spectators on site and waved diligently from the Town Hall balcony. There were kisses for free.

With so much closeness to the city, Archduke Christoph and his wife have been able to get at least as many sympathy points as Guillaume and his Stéphanie. We look forward to the wedding of Prince Félix ...
