Bundestag

The glass dome of the Reichstag is open every day from 8-24 clock (last entry 22:00 clock) for visitors. It is best to take the train to the central station and then walk across the Spree and the forecourt. But you can also reach the Reichstag building from the Brandenburg Gate. If you already sign up for a guided tour, you do not have to stand in line.

The Brandenburg Gate

Spree Tour

DDR Museum

The very special museum is located in Berlin-Mitte. Here, life in the former GDR was recreated with original exhibits. Socialist living spaces and other objects from the everyday and professional lives of citizens and party members are shown. Madame Tussauds

Wax figures of international personalities from music, TV, cinema and politics are exhibited here. Opening hours: Mon to Sun 10 am to 7 pm (last admission: 6 pm). Cost: around 19 euros.

KADEWE

The department store of the West has a total area of ​​65, 000 square meters, making it the largest department store in continental Europe. The Kadewe is known for its functional shop-in-shop principle. There is nothing that does not exist here. The department store is on Kurfürstendamm in the Tauentzienstraße.
