Before the South Beach Diet began, it was hard to forget about just about all carbohydrates: sweets, fruit, juices, pasta, potato products, rice, bread, pastries, and alcohol.

Actually, I would have had to eat eggs for breakfast - but that was not my cup of tea - I tried it with boiled ham from day two. I personally thought that was delicious and until lunchtime I was full. For lunch and dinner, it was then daily chicken, turkey, fish or pork with vegetables or salad. I never waived dressing or some sauce. Vegetable soups were also allowed. In between there was tomato mozzarella (light), tuna without oil.

In order to prevent a possible vitamin deficiency, had to serve a vitamin preparation. In the first two weeks, when all carbohydrates are dispensed with, the first six pounds have been tumbled without my feeling hungry.

In week three and four I ate little sweets, I again took fruit and yogurt and continued to do without carbohydrates as a side dish - with exceptions (a little rice to curry, a roll for breakfast).

Weeks five to eight look similar. A candy a day is allowed, alcohol I only drink on certain occasions, which is simply not necessary. Once a week is a normal breakfast with bread in it, otherwise I was too accustomed to boiled ham and fruit for breakfast.

If I take carbohydrates to the saturation supplement, it turns out to be very small. You can not see salad, but you do not miss anything else. Meat and fish rulez! Ten pounds are down. The weight, however, varies from day to day. Time is another kilo more, the next day it is gone again.

My conclusion:

The South Beach Diet works without starving you. It only takes some time to look for delicious alternatives to potatoes, bread and co. When you see the result, it is very easy to do without certain things. Sweets are in there from week four daily again.

The South Beach Diet is a great way to see what you've been stuffing so far. If you increase again, you can easily add two or three days from the first phase to the diet.

You do not have to be 20 pounds overweight for this diet to see results. Also a bacon rolls from the winter you get away super.
