The pictures of the chickens in the sweater are so cute!

These chickens would normally freeze in cold temperatures and would have to stay in the barn. But thanks to their owner, they can now go out even in cold temperatures - with small sweaters! Look at the result, is not it cute?

Nicola Congdon and her mother are rescuing abandoned cage hens and giving them a new home. About half of their 60 chickens are caged and have a sad life when they come to Nicola Congdon.

The cage hens freeze in winter

The two women from Cornwall in England take care of their chickens. So they are seriously concerned that the chickens could freeze in the cold temperatures, as the former cage hens can not adapt so well to the cold and uncomfortable weather outside. So a few months ago, they started knitting pullovers for their feathered friends and putting them on.
