Children's book on the way to a bestseller

A bedtime story that should make every child fall asleep within minutes? That sounds like something that all parents would like to have ...

"Again again!" - How often have parents been allowed to hear this exclamation in the evening, when they bring their children to bed in the evening and they do not want to close their eyes, even after the umpteenth bedtime story. But now there should be a children's book, that the little ones already drift within minutes (in some comments to the book is even only three minutes of speech) into the land of dreams.

The name of the hotly debated book: "The rabbit that so much wants to fall asleep - a slightly different bedtime story" . It was written by the Swede Carl-Johan Forssén Ehrlin. Originally the book was first published in Swedish and then translated into English and German. The idea came to Ehrlin, who among other things coached executives and taught communication and leadership at Swedish universities when he was sitting in the car with his sleeping mother one day. He himself says, "Out of nowhere, I suddenly had the whole story in my head, knowing how to use my abilities, what the characters should look like, and how to help kids fall asleep."

The implementation of the concept took another 3.5 years. The translations took another year to complete.

But what exactly is the much-praised bedtime story about now?

The protagonist of the book is the little rabbit Konrad. Konrad has a big problem. He can not fall asleep. Together with his mother rabbit Konrad makes it on the way to Uncle Sandman, who should help him. In between, Konrad and his mother meet Mr. Schnecke Sleepy and Mrs. Owl Müdeblick. They give him lots of tips to make him sleep faster. But Konrad goes further. Finally, the little rabbit gets very tired after Uncle Sandmann has spread a magic sleeping powder in his eyes. Konrad just makes it to his cot before he sleeps through the night.

The author explains the secret of the book's success: "To help the child relax, words such as 'sleeping' and 'tired' are used most frequently, and the child identifies with the rabbit by identifying himself with the rabbit As the rabbit becomes more and more tired, even as the rabbit becomes tired, words and phrases are better perceived when they are read with special emphasis or more slowly. "

For the successful bedtime story there is even a manual. Words printed in bold should be emphasized, whereas text sections printed in italics should be read slowly and quietly. If the word 'action' is anywhere, the above should be done. Wherever 'name' is, the name of the child should be used. The name of the rabbit Konrad can be read as if you were yawning.

To illustrate the whole thing, here is an excerpt from the book:

Many parents are enthusiastic about the effect of the book and have made the bedtime story an integral part of the nightly sleep routine.

Here is the book to buy.
