The queen of autumn
The dahlia is the queen of autumn. With her rich intense color she is now conquering our home. Here are 4 simple decoration ideas.
You need this for the flower basket:
- Fresh Flower floral foam
- Wooden box / bottle box made of wood
- Foil for the box
- about 20 dahlias
- possibly shashlik skewer
- Schleifenband
- knife
- Vessel with water
- scissors
- Flower shears
And that's how easy it is:
1. Cut the floral foam and slowly let it soak in water.
2. Lay the box with foil and fill it with the foam.
3. Cut the dahlias with the flower scissors and push gently into the floral foam. Possibly. Pierce holes with a skewer.
4. Tie a loop around the handle of the box as a decoration.
You need this for the floating flowers:
- dahlias heads
- floating candles
- Container eg baking dish
- Flower shears
And that's how easy it is:
1. Cut off the dahlia stems just below the flower.
2. Place with the candles in the water-filled container.

What you need for the tablet:
- Tray (craft shop)
- Spray paint in light blue (from mtn-shop.de azulanges)
- dahlia printed paper / wrapping paper
- Decoupage adhesive (craft shop)
- scissors
- soft brush
And that's how easy it is:
1. Color the tray with spray paint. Let the paint dry.
2. Carefully cut out dahlias.
3. Spread the tray with decoupage glue and place the cut out flowers.
4. Coat the tray and paper blossoms again with the glue. Let dry.
