What Dr. Johannes F. Coy advises, is simply feasible for everyone in everyday life. Every single one of these strategies reduces the risk significantly.

Why do some people get cancer? What is the best way to prevent it? More and more doctors refer to the Stone Age. Since humans had lived healthier, namely in harmony with nature. And there is a lot of it, says the renowned cancer researcher Dr. med. Johannes F. Coy.

What was healthier then?

Dr. Coy: "Food - they were free of added sugar, flavorings and preservatives." The compulsion to move: "During hunting and gathering, people were on the move all day." And her sleep-wake-up rhythm was determined by daylight and darkness, the expert said.

But today humans have a problem: Our metabolism is still working as it was in the Stone Age - but we can cope with the current abundance of fats and carbohydrates, with the lack of exercise and the often lack of relaxation.

Do we have to go back to the Stone Age if we want to effectively protect ourselves from cancer?

"No. But we can learn a lot from our ancestors, " Dr. Johannes F. Coy. We need to be more attuned to the way of life as a hunter-gatherer, to which our bodies have adapted over many millennia. The good news from Dr. Coy: "It's enough to focus on the essentials in everyday life as often as possible." And to this end, the cancer researcher, together with other scientists, has developed eight effective anti-cancer norms that we can implement quite well in our everyday lives.
