PATENT (round trip):
1st row (= front): 1 st of garter st, * 1 st, 1 st, 1 st. take off *, from * - * total 7 times, with 1 re. and 1 round garter st.
2nd row (= back): 1 st of garter st, * 1 st, 1 st. take off, the envelope and the lifted M. re. knit together *, from * - * total 7 times, 1 YO, 1 st. take off, 1 st of garter st.
3rd row (= front): 1 st of garter st, * the envelope and the raised sts. Knit together, 1 YO, 1 st. take off *, from * - * total 7 times, the envelope and the withdrawn M. re. knit together, 1 st of garter st.
Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows.
For the bow shortened rows are knitted.
1 repeat (= 28-30-32-34-36-40 rows) as follows:
1./2. Row: knit over all sts, turn the piece and knit back.
3-4. Row: knit until 2 sts remain, turn the piece and knit back.
5/6. Row: knit until 4 sts remain, turn the piece and knit back.
Continue this way and knit 2 sts less until only the patent pattern and 2 sts remain to the middle (= 19 sts). Now knit 2 rows over the sts in the patent and 2 sts in garter st.
Knit this repeat a total of 3 times x.
The back part of the cardigan is knitted in 2 parts. First you knit an edge in the patent pattern. Then take stitches at the edge and knit the back into garter sts.
The work is knit back and forth. Cast on 20 sts on needle no. The 1st row from the front as follows: 2 sts. Garter st, PATENT - see above. - over the next 17 sts and 1 edge crotch rib. Continue working until the work measures 42-46-50-55-61-67 cm. After a 2nd round in the patent design. The next row from the front as follows: 3 sts garter st, * the envelope and the raised sts. knit together, 1 left *, from * - * total 7 x, the envelope and the withdrawn M. re. knit together, 1 st. and 1 Randm in garter st. When piece measures 48-49-50-51-52-53 cm on both sides at beg of each row, cast off for armhole as follows: 1 x 3 sts, 1-2-3-5-7-9 x 2 sts. and 2-3-4-4-5-6 x 1 st = 68-70-72-74-76-78 M. After 64-66-68-70-72-74 cm (16-17-18- 19-20-21 cm from first removal on armhole) cast off the middle 18-20-22-24-26-28 sts for neckline. At the next row for the neckline dec 1 more M. = 24 sts. After 66-68-70-72-74-76 cm abk.
The work is knit back and forth. Cast on 45-47-49-51-53-57 sts on needle size 4 mm (including 1 edge st in side and 2 sts garter st in center). 1 R. re. on the back, then from the front as follows: 2 sts garter st, patent over the next 17 sts, garter sts over the last 26-28-30-32-34-38 sts. AT THE SAME TIME knit the shortened rows - see above. Total 3 reports with shortened rows. Continue with the patent and the garter sts over all sts. After 48-49-50-51-52-53 cm (adjust the back). On the side as on the back for Armlochabk. AT THE SAME TIME, cut off the 19 sts towards the front center (= 2 sts garter + patent) for the neckline. by taking 2 sts. knit together, totally 14-13-12-10-7-6 x every 1-1-1½-1½-2½-3 cm. The work is knit back and forth. Cast on 46-48-50-52-54-56 sts on needle number 4 (1 edge on both sides). Knit 3 ridges. Change to needle no. 4, 5, and knit until smooth. When at 8 cm inc 1 st at each side, 8-10-11-13-14-16 x every 5-4-3½-3-2½-2 cm = 62-68-72-78-82-88 sts After 48-48-47-47-45-44 cm (Due to the broader shoulders, the sleeves are shorter in the large sizes) on both sides, at the beginning of the row for the arm ball off: 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts ., 6-8-9-10-13-16 x 1 sts.
