First, it was just an angry whisper, then it developed into a much-controversial scandal: In the inbox of the now 14-year-old Tavi Gevinson, author of the blog Style Rookie fluttered in early 2009 invitations to all important fashion shows. Marc Jacobs, Yohji Yamamoto and the Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte put the youngsters in the first row - right next to US Voguechefin Anna Wintour. But instead of pondering wrinkles in the botoxed forehead, many print editors see the blogs as an opportunity to devote themselves to new tasks or as a source of inspiration, perhaps for a new trend.
