You want to give your flowers a very individual touch at home? Then make your own flower pot. It's that easy.
That's what you need for the flower pot:
- Balloon (craft shop)
- newsprint
- household paper
- Decopatch adhesive (craft shop)
- Acrylic paint in white, blue and black (craft shop)
- Paper plate or other underlay for the acrylic paint
- vessel
- scissors
- brush
And that's how easy it is:
1. Inflate the balloon and place it on a vessel, so the balloon can not roll.
2. Tear newspaper and household paper into small pieces.
3. Apply a thick layer of Decopatch glue to the balloon, place the newspaper bits and glue with glue. Repeat process. Glue 2-3 layers on top of each other. Then stick on the household paper.
4. Let the balloon dry. Cut the balloon and cut the edge clean.
5. Prime the balloon with white acrylic paint. Let dry.
6. Make a flower pattern. Let dry.
