Before Andrea Berg became a singer, she completed a training as a medical assistant. She then worked as a nurse assistant on the intensive care and oncology ward of a hospital.
In 1992, producer Eugen Römer discovered the woman with the expressive voice. It was the first album "You are free". Three years later, she convinced with "feelings" - the album helped Andrea Berg finally to commercial breakthrough. It was followed by numerous awards such as the "Echo" or the "Golden Tuning Fork".
