Words can be so painful: Lacey Buchnan had to learn that too. The young mother fights daily with hostility, because her little son Christian has come handicapped to the world. In a moving video she tells her story.

At first, everything seemed normal: Christian grew in Lacey's stomach. She and her husband were overjoyed. But then the diagnosis of the doctors: With Christian something was not right. And they should be right. The little boy was born without eyes and with a severe cleft palate. A shock to the parents. First of all, they had to get used to the look of their boy. Mentally Christian, however, is fit.
What most distressed the young mother was the utterances of strangers. One woman even told her that she had Christian best, aborted. Frightening words for the already unsettled mother. But then she posted photos on Facebook of herself and Christian. Quickly she got positive feedback, found new friends and finally her courage to live again.
