It is the knighthood for any star when it gets a doppelganger in the wax museum of Madame Tussauds. Here the fans can come very close to their idols.

This exhibition continues to be so successful that a branch has also been opened in Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Washington DC, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

That so many tourists still make a pilgrimage to the waxworks is no wonder! After all, fans here have the best opportunity to put their arms around Shakira and have their picture taken with the Beckhams. Okay, I admit, it's not a date with the real stars, but Madame Tussauds wax museum has to look twice. Who do you have in front of you? Doll or superstar?
How difficult it is to shine next to a wax figure, the candidates of the fifth GNTM relay have experienced first-hand. At the photo shoot with the characters of Robbie Williams and Johnny Depp some girls froze themselves to the pillar of salt.
For some stars and starlets, however, the employees of Madame Tussauds seem to have shown little enthusiasm: in addition to deceptively real lookalike, there are wax figures who do not resemble her role model at all, and even creations that are just scary. One advantage of the dolls, however: In contrast to their role models wax can not age. Certainly some stars will be jealous.
