Döner homemade : The recipe of Gourmet Guerilla

Homemade kebab for 4 persons

Slice 600g of turkey breast (preferably organic) into bite size cubes and combine with 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 chopped onion and 4 chopped garlic cloves at least 1 hour (better overnight) in a spice mixture of paprika, pepper, cinnamon, chili, garlic, salt, basil and marinate oregano .

Put the meat on skewers and grill either on the charcoal grill or with a contact grill.

In the meantime plan red cabbage, cucumbers and carrots, streak green lettuce and slice tomatoes . Arrange on a large plate.

Mix 200 g of yoghurt (10%) with 1 pinch of salt and a finely grated clove of garlic. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with sumac (vinegar spice).

Arrange the grilled skewers on the plate with the salad and then add the thin flatbread and yoghurt sauce. And if you like, add some chili.
