Early summer 2015: dm launches its own online shop on dm.de
Already in the early summer of 2015, customers should be able to shop around the clock at the drugstore chain dm. The new online shop on www.dm.de makes it possible.
Now it's official: In just a few months, the products of the dm drugstore chain will not only be available in more than 1, 600 stores across Germany. Because in the early summer of 2015, dm will launch its own online shop .
At www.dm.de , customers can then access almost the entire dm product range. The delivery of the ordered items should take about two to three working days. A small downside: The deliveries are not free shipping. Erich Harsch, chairman of the dm management, explains why they decided to charge shipping costs: "Precisely because we want to remain the cheapest provider of drugstore products on the market, we have decided to charge shipping for the delivery. The customers who shop in our stores should not have to pay for the shipping costs of the online shop because of higher prices. "That sounds fair.
Nevertheless, the dm-Online-Shop could be worthwhile especially for those who otherwise have no opportunity to use the service of the drugstore chain. "Our customers should be able to experience the same services and consulting expertise on the Internet as they already know from our markets, " says Erich Harsch. The same online prices apply here as in the German dm markets.
In addition, the dm online shop should not only offer numerous shopping opportunities, but also various editorial content. It should also be provided information about the individual products.
With the start of the online shop in the early summer of 2015, dm now moves with other drugstore chains like Budnikowsky, Müller and Rossmann. These already all have their own online presence.
