These Eastersters made of paper mache are a real eye-catcher. We'll show you how to make the beautiful nests.
Make easter eggs easily and quickly
Making easter tales yourself has never been so easy. You only need a handful of materials and the beautiful Easter baskets are finished.
This is what you need for papier-mâché Easter eggs :
- Normal paste (eg Metylan)
- balloon
- colored wrapping paper
- Easter grass or moss
- Chocolate bunnies, eggs (eg from Oschätzchen)
- Flowers (daisies, chamomile, tazettes)
- bowl
- scissors
- brush
And that's how easy it is:
1. Prepare the paste in a bowl according to the manufacturer's instructions, then inflate the balloon.
2. Cut colored paper with scissors into small pieces (2-3 cm in size).
3. Apply the paste thinly with a brush to the desired balloon position, overlapping the snippets on the base so that the balloon is no longer visible. Several layers of chips on top of each other achieve the desired effect.
4. Allow the papier-mâché nest to harden on the balloon, carefully cut the balloon and remove it from the nest.
5. Decorate Easter basket with Easter grass, chocolate bunnies, eggs and flowers.
