A pair of jeans for all occasions

Cushion covers do not always have to be bought ready. No, you can also do it yourself. For this copy you only need a few old jeans and a bit of tact.

That's what you need for the jeans pillow:

  • 2 old jeans (second hand)
  • Embroidery thread (fabric trade)
  • Embroidery needle (fabric trade)
  • Sewing machine and matching yarn
  • 2 buttons (fabric trade)
  • tape measure
  • fabric scissors

And this is how it's done:

1. Cut off your trouser pocket from an old pair of jeans.

2. Cut the two trouser legs from another pair of jeans and cut open.

3. Cut open the cut legs and sew them together to make an area of 45 x 100 cm.

4. Cut about 15 leaves and ten circles of about 10 cm from the jeans rests .

5. Fold the circles twice in the middle, creating a quarter.

6. Thread a long piece of yarn through the round part of the quarter circle.

7. Repeat the last step with another four circles, threading all five quarters on the same piece of yarn.

8. Tighten the two twine tying knots, tying the twine.

9. Repeat step 5-8 with the remaining five fabric circles.

10. Sew sheets with embroidery thread onto the trouser legs.

11. Place the trouser pocket in the desired position and sew it on with the sewing machine or by hand.

12. Sew the flowers from the circle of jeans onto the cushion blank with the help of buttons.

13. Cover the edges of the pillow and sew them together with an overlap of 20 cm right to right and turn them over.
