DIY tip: milk jug candle

Photo: deco & style

Old treasures

Almost everyone has old porcelain at home that he wanted to sell at the flea market. Just make candles for the cozy autumn time. We show how!

You need this:

  • Old candles in pink and beige
  • Pot for candle melting
  • Candle wick (craft shop)
  • Old milk jug
  • skewers
  • scissors

It's that easy:

1. Melt candles in a water bath.

2. Remove the old wick.

3. Add new wick to the length of the pot, leaving a bit of excess.

4. Tie the wick to the kebab skewer and place the kebab skewer over the jug.

5. Gently pour the melted wax into the pot.

6. Allow to dry thoroughly.

Tip 7: Sometimes the wax pulls down and it creates a hole, then just melt another small amount and pour.
