This little guy want to have you too? You only need a few pieces of felt for the mouse and this free sewing instruction. Difficulty level: easy!

You need this for the mouse:

  • Felt remnants in light gray (about 11 x 20 cm) and black (about 10 x 7 cm)
  • 2 small buttons for the eyes
  • Cotton cord (about 15 cm long)
  • fiberfill
  • sewing thread
  • Sewing and pin needles
  • matching yarn
  • a scissors

And that's how easy it is:

Pattern / cut

  • Transfer the cutting pattern to paper, cut it out.
  • From the light gray felt cut once the bottom and two side parts (opposite).
  • From the black felt cut out the nose and two ears.
  • Transfer the markings for tail, ears and eyes.

Sewing blank 1

  • Staple the bottom and side panels together with pins.
  • Topstitch the back seam.
  • At the marked point, enclose the cord as a tail.

Sew blank 2

Sew the side panels to the ground, avoiding the nostril and turn everything through this opening.

To fill

  • Gently stuff the body with cotton wool.
  • Sew the nose piece to a small ball by hand, then stuff it with some filling cotton.

Complete

Sew on nose, ears and eyes at marked points.
