St. Martin's Day, Santa Claus, Christmas, New Year's Eve ...
The cold season is the time of many invitations . If the table looks a bit plain and empty, we have the solution: Simply make decorative napkin jewelery like this one. Goes fast and works - promised!
What you need:
- Fine salt
- White flour
- water
- cooking oil
- rolling pin
- small glass
- thick nail
- baking paper
- sewing needle
- Yarn in Gold, Blue and Blue-Gold (from Anchor; Department Store)
- Cord in gold
That's how it works:
1. Mix salt dough (see instructions below).
2. Roll out the salt dough with the rolling pin flat on a floured work surface.
3. Cut out round shapes with a small glass of salt dough.
4. Using a thick nail, make holes around the edge.
5. Place the taler on a tray lined with baking paper and bake according to instructions.
6. Use a needle to pull the yarn through the holes to form a pattern.
7. Tie the cord at the bottom with the yarn. 8. Roll up the napkin and slide the napkin ring over the napkin
Here are the instructions. Have fun!
