Decoration Special Bravo Girl!

The owl pillow with its colorful dress dispels the dull winter blues. With the help of the instructions, you can easily sew the pillow yourself.

You need that for the pillow:

  • pink fabric, about 10 x 10 cm
  • yellow fabric, approx. 35 x 36 cm
  • 2 patterned fabric, about 20 x 20 cm
  • white felt in DIN A4
  • black felt in A4
  • Vlieseline
  • French chalk
  • fabric glue
  • fiberfill
  • fabric scissors
  • Iron
  • pins
  • Sewing machine and matching yarn

And that's how easy it is:

1. The original is created in DIN A3 and the seam allowance of 1 cm is already included in the pattern. The open-edged cut pieces have no seam allowance.

2. Download the template, print it in the copy shop and cut it out.

3. Place the body on the double-layered yellow fabric, trace and cut.

4. Transfer the eye area to pink fabric and cut out. Iron the fleece line on the back. This game is open-edged.

5. The feet are cut four times. Two pieces are placed one on top of the other on the right side and sewn with 1 cm seam allowance, except for the side that is sewn to the owl. Turn your feet and fill with filling cotton, now close the open areas.

6. The forehead and the abdomen are cut from patterned fabric and provided with Vlieseline on the back, they are also open-edged.

7. Place the belly and forehead on the right side of a yellow body and sew tight-edged.

8. Place the eye area above the abdominal area and sew tight-edged.

9. Cut the eyes out of the white and black felt, brush with the textile glue and stick to the eye area.

10. Cut out the nose from a patterned fabric, cover it with fleece-line and glue it onto the eye area and belly with textile glue.

11. Place both body parts right to right. The feet are placed on the lower side, left and right inwards and pinned with pins.

12. Start on the inside of a foot and once around the body close with a seam allowance of 1 cm, ending on the inside of the other foot so that an opening between the feet remains to turn.

13. Turn the owl and fill with filler. Close the opening by hand.
