Katie Knowles is 24 years old, a beautiful young woman and a successful plus-size model. But Katie has a handicap that you can not see at first glance.
The pretty law student suffers from spinal stenosis, a rare disease of the spine. When the disease broke out years ago, she could not move her legs and the doctors told her that she would never walk again.
But the fun- loving Brit did not give up, struggling through various operations and agonizing hour of physiotherapy to be able to move her legs again.

Meanwhile, Katie can walk with the help of a walker.
A friend encouraged her to pose for a few photos to regain her shrunken confidence. And the young woman immediately liked it, felt so good in front of the camera that a well-known agency signed her. Meanwhile, Katie has been model for several advertising campaigns.

Katie has never been slowed down by her disability, on the contrary, she has always been an incentive for her to fight harder to make her dreams come true!
The 24-year-old fights hard against the discrimination in the modeling industry and hopes that more people who do not conform to the typical model dimensions will be accepted! A great attitude with which Katie is already a great role model.
