Family Closeness

This is how the Swedes love their royals: The Swedish royal family as a family that sticks together, works together and has fun together. Yesterday on the National Day, the Swedish royal family, including King Carl Gustaf (66), Queen Silvia (68), Crown Princess Victroria (34), Prince Daniel (38), Prince Carl Philip (33) and Princess Madeleine (29) proved that they willing to pull together, not only at family gatherings (like Estelle's baptism ), but also at state-sponsored events.

Especially nice: The "renegade" Madeleine and her often as "lazy" titled brother Carl Philip put a lot of effort into the stuff and showed the Swedes that they are ready to fulfill all the expectations that the people and the crown to them.

Therefore, it was not just a beautiful picture for the photographers, as the siblings cheerfully laughingly opened the heavy lock gates in Stockholm to give their fans a free admission to the time-honored salons - as is customary on National Day - but also for Carl Gustaf and Silvia, who were happy about this gesture of their children.

A special role was also allowed to take Prince Daniel . He skillfully completed a solo appointment in Malmö, Sweden's third largest city, in his polite, humble manner.

As a royal sextet, the Swedish royal family was then closed only in Visby and later in the Stockholm district of Skansen. A lot of eyes are naturally Victoria, who interrupted her maternity leave for the occasion. She liked to do that, she said.

The women's robes were yesterday - unlike the other at the glittering Nobel Prize awards - not an issue, because on the national holiday, the ladies of the Swedish royal family costume. Not necessarily elegant, but traditional and home-connected.
