Each of the more than 4, 000 applications received by post, e-mail and Facebook was thoroughly reviewed by the jury headed by Sonja Zietlow, Vera Int-Veen, Stefanie Hertel, Uta Bresan and Simone Sombecki.
"The dogs and cats are so unique. Everyone should win! ", Said Sonja Zietlow and the other jury members could only agree with her.
After presenting the preselection of the most beautiful dogs and cats in the picture gallery last week, we now show you our 20 finalists.
Now it's your turn, dear reader. You can choose from these the most beautiful dog and the most beautiful cat 2015 - and even win 50 euros (how to do that, read below).
On the winners of both categories each waiting for great cash gains:

2nd place: 500 euros
3rd place: 300 euros
