Small place, big stars: Once a year, music lovers from all over the world come together to attend the Coachella Festival in Los Angeles. Sure, that's why the stars from Hollywood antanzen - and even be a fan.

The desert is alive! At least when the Coachella Festival is due. Once a year, the small town of Coachella transforms into the South Californian wilderness to the Place To Be. Actually, only for three days, in 2012, the festival spreads for the first time even on two weekends.

Already last weekend, celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Roberts or Paris Hilton celebrated. From April 13 to 15, 2012, they were not even in the spotlight for the first time, but they were looking forward to the performances of Rihanna, Katy Perry, Azalea Banks or Florence & The Machine.
Coachella style: denim shorts versus wall skirts
And so they exchanged the red carpet for the festival meadow and the evening gowns and tuxedos for hipster looks, which took us partly on a journey through time. Paris Hilton went for a hippie with a maxi skirt and flower band in her hair, Rihanna and Jared Leto revived the '80s in their jeans outfits, and Kate Bosworth had probably picked her styling idea from a Kate Moss from the late' 90s.
Only Kellan Lutz was unimpressed in jeans and T-shirt. He was really just there for the music ... We're curious to see what the styles will look like next weekend: starting April 20th, we're celebrating for three more days!
