Revelation!

With his "Ballad pour Adeline" Richard Clayderman conquers the hearts of his female fans today. Now the pianist airs a well-kept secret in the exclusive interview with THE NEW BLADE - the world star has married his young friend Typhaine (41) after two failed marriages!

The new leaf: You go on tour with colleagues like Florian Silbereisen. Richard Clayderman: I am very happy that I can go on tour with him because I think he is very talented. I have also appeared in two of his TV shows. I'm looking forward to the tour. Compared to my own are various artists with it, I think that's nice. I am very happy to be in Germany again and perform here. How well do you and Florian know each other? Richard Clayderman: We do not know each other so well yet, but I've already heard him singing. They have been successful for so long now. Do you find it annoying to be constantly reduced to "Ballade pour Adeline"? Richard Clayderman: It's true, if you did not have five or six hits, some people always reduce you to just this ballad. However, as I travel through the world - like China, India or South America - the audience gets to know me again and again. I'm not one of the artists who will eventually have enough of playing their hit for years. In addition, many performances are different - sometimes with orchestra, sometimes I alone. This will not get bored. Do you live according to the motto: All good things come in threes? Richard Clayderman: (laughs) There's a similar saying in France too: never two without a third. Will it be your last marriage? Richard Clayderman: Yes, I'm sure! When was the wedding? Richard Clayderman: We got married in May - just the two of us. Our witnesses were employees of the town hall. We have been a very happy couple for eleven years. Why did you wait so long for the marriage? Richard Clayderman: (laughs again) That's a good question! I first had to divorce my previous wife. That took a while. I wanted the divorce to be as harmonious as possible. So as not to hurt my ex-wife unnecessarily, we did not marry immediately. Do you want new blood? Richard Clayderman: No, we do not want children anymore. I have two. My daughter Maud from her first marriage is 36, my son Peter is 25 and from my second wife. I have a dog with Typhaine - Cooky. Unfortunately, he has heart and lung problems and needs to take medication. We try to make life as good as possible for him. Luckily he is doing well right now. Where and how do you live in France? Richard Clayderman: We recently bought a house near Paris. In the morning we have a nice breakfast, then a market visit, and then we go to the café.
