Decorative turtles from plastic bottles - with instructions

Beautiful and recycled: deco-turtles to imitate

Not all plastic bottles are returnable bottles. But do not throw the empty copies away, because you can make wonderful things out of them ...

You brought a plastic bottle from your vacation? Even if you no longer get any deposit for them, do not throw them away. Because: You can tinker from her sugary turtles, which in turn bring the holiday feeling home. Here we show you how to make the little turtles.

You need this:

1 plastic bottle with "bumps" on the bottom, another plastic wrap in size A5, acrylic paint in white, black, and a color of your choice, permanent marker, a piece of paper, hot glue gun and hot glue, scissors, brush, pencil.

That's how it works:

1. Cut the ground evenly with scissors.

2. Place the sheet of paper on the table, center the bottom of the bottle and draw around the edges. In addition, they mark the shape of a turtle: head, four legs, tail

3. Now cut out the turtle based on the outlined outline.

4. Check if the bottom of the bottle fits the body.

5. Place the paper body on the plastic wrap and transfer it with the permantent marker.

6. Now paint both plastic parts with your desired color in acrylic.

7. Repeat the process if the paint is not properly covered.

8. Let everything dry well

9. Then paint the turtle's face with white and black paint.

10. Let it dry.

11. Then glue the bottle bottom edge with hot glue and glue the plastic body on it.

12. If you like, you can give structure to the turtle shell with yarn and a button.
