How to get everything out of your smartphone speaker

With Spotify, YouTube and co, we always hear exactly what we want on the smartphone. But there is a catch: the smartphone speakers often sound thin and quiet.

Anyone who does not want to buy expensive equipment can give their smartphone a decent volume boost with the following trick.

To quickly build a DIY speaker, you only need the following items: two paper cups, a cardboard roll (eg of toilet paper), scissors, pen and your smartphone.

Cut each hole into the cups, which has approximately the same diameter as the paperboard roller. Then use the scissors to scrape a gap in the cardboard roll so that you can just insert your smartphone into it. Now put the two paper cups on the cardboard tube - and you can start listening to music!
