Only a trend or a healthy nutrition concept?

The new nutritional concept: clean eating. Clean food? It should make you healthier and fitter. We know what they are allowed to eat and what not.

In a strawberry yogurt include strawberries and on a pizza cheese. It is obvious! They think! Consumers are increasingly finding sawdust instead of fruit in strawberry yoghurt and analog cheese instead of mozzarella on the pizza. 'Artificial is just cheaper'. But better too?

Bag open, burger out. It goes fast and it tastes good. So why cook fresh, when it's so easy? If you take a look at the list of ingredients, you will be horrified to discover that terms that spoil your appetite very quickly. Only solution: eat fresh and cook yourself.

A new nutritional concept: clean eating . No diet and no hunger cure, but a way of life that Americans have long since discovered for themselves. Author Tosca Reno has made clean eating public. At 42, she changed her life, escaped overweight. She is "one of us" and the best example that anyone who really wants it can lose weight.

The principle: long known. It is similar to the food of our grandparents: self-plant and self-cooking. Lots of vegetables and little meat . Cakes and sweets were only available on special occasions. Coke, soda and chips you did not know.

Clean Eating does not mean anything like 'clean food': food that is made up of natural and unprocessed food. The more often a food is modified and changed, the worse it is for the body.

Highly processed foods such as ready meals, sweets, fast foods and salty snacks are not only unhealthy, they also lead to obesity. They make you tired and tired, you feel drained. How do I eat 'clean'?

'Self-cooking is time consuming and expensive': an excuse. There are many recipes that are not only fast but also inexpensive. Who gets involved in clean eating, will be surprised how easily it can be integrated into everyday life . For breakfast there is instead of ready crunchy cereal, even muesli. For lunch, freshly cooked and in the evening, the white bread is replaced by wholemeal bread . A bit of dark chocolate in between is completely OK. Other tasty snacks: nuts, fruits, vegetables, natural yoghurt and quark.

Beware of fruit juices and smoothies! Often they are stretched with water, mixed with preservatives and sweetened with sugar. Doing yourself is not only healthier, it also tastes even better.
