With a little help, everything is possible
He was only eleven years old when the doctors made the diagnosis: brain tumor! Schlageringer Christoff (36) had to be operated on immediately. In the interview Belgium's superstar ("Blue Eyes") tells, with whose help he managed all this.
25 years ago, you had a brain tumor .
Christoff: That was dramatic! Actually, my everyday life should have consisted of school and games. But I missed a lot of lessons because I had to be treated. It was a terrible time . Healthy people have a thousand dreams. Sick people only one: to get well!
What were your chances?
Christoff: The likelihood that I would recover completely was only ten percent. I threatened to go blind. I could not see anything after the surgery!
How terrible! And then?
Christoff: You operated on my eyes. I did it, so every week I visit sick or dying people to give something back. I am so thankful that I am well again.
Who helped you?
Christoff: My parents, they were always with me. And then I met my friend Rita. She prayed for me and promised me that I would get well. She gave me strength and saved my life.
She is a healer.
Christoff: Right. She works with angels and the energy. I still make every concert date and CD releases dependent on their feelings.
