Prince with heart

That Queen Silvia (69) son Carl Philip (33) is a gifted designer, is known in Sweden.

He has already received much praise for his cutlery, porcelain or furniture creations. Now he ventured on something tiny - a pin in heart shape.

This little heart pin is made up of three balloons rising up to symbolize hope, as Prince Carl Philip has not designed any piece of jewelery, but it is a badge for a good cause.

It is dedicated to the Swedish Foundation for Heart and Lung Diseases. With the sale of the badge, a lot of money should be mobilized, if possible in the millions, so that great things can be done for the affected patient group.

Carl Philip is sure that this succeeds as other designers have demonstrated this in previous years.

The pins are sold through clubs, associations and school classes.

A royal pin costs 40 crowns, which is around 4.70 euros. A single shipment is not provided.

Information about the foundation and about Carl Philips commendable action can be found at www.hjart-lungfonden.

But watch out: If you click on translation programs, the price of crowns will change into dollars and will be falsely displayed at almost ten times higher.
