Now it's official: Cara is the second Kate!
Topshop has a new testimonial: Model Cara Delevingne graces the campaign for Fall / Winter 2014. And thus officially succeeds Kate Moss. We show the pictures.
Cool, messy, crazy - no one is like Cara Delevingn e! With her wry smile and distinctive eyebrows, she has conquered the world at the latest since she won the British Fashion Awards in 2012 as "Model of the Year". The jury's verdict: "Her unique sense of style has made her one of the most recognizable people in the industry." Cara has that certain something that distinguishes her from near-perfect but often interchangeable mannequin clones. Her weird nature and her looks have now reached a cult status.
Whether it's a glossy magazine or a prestigious runway show, if you're up to something, book Cara! Sure, everyone wants to benefit from their it-factor now. Chanel, Mulberry, Burberry - Cara Delevingne is in! Her latest advertising deal: she is the campaign face of the Topshop Fall / Winter 2014 campaign - and thus the first model to appear solo in a retailer's promotional section.
"Cara is a true topshop girl, " says creative director Kate Phelan. "Her style is self-confident and playful, and she manages to be both sophisticated and chic, as well as cool and casual, and her energy is unbreakable and invigorating, she is a free spirit and so funny."
Cara Delevingne landed her first job for the British label back in 2010, in a video for the Kate Moss x Topshop collection. Since then she ran several shows for the UK brand.
