Flowerpot with a difference

A planter does not always have to be made of clay, we make a nice variation of fabric, in which your flowers will certainly feel just as well.

That's what you need for the planter:

  • solid dark blue fabric
  • 2 leather straps
  • small orchid in yellow
  • tape measure
  • French chalk
  • fabric scissors
  • pins
  • Sewing machine and matching sewing thread

And that's how easy it is:

1. Measure out the following panels, add 2 cm seam allowance and cut out:

  • 1 piece 20 x 75 cm
  • 2 pieces 13 x 30 cm as side parts

2. Lay the long piece lengthwise in front of you.

3. The two side panels are flush top right and left to the two sides of the long piece of fabric stuck (right to right) and sewn. Turn up the protruding long fabric. Also, stick to the right sides of the side panels and sew together.

4. Pin the two remaining sides of the floor and sew them up. Turn lunchbag.

5. Sew two leather straps to tie on one side from the inside center to the opening.

6. Put the orchid in the fabric.
