Thirteen years ago, American Kevin Taylor broke his leg. But what looks good in most cases is Taylor's toughest challenge of his life. When the leg does not stop hurting, he gets the RSD diagnosis. This is the nerve disorder Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (short RSD), which even leads in 2009 Kevin Taylor that his affected leg must be amputated. Since then, the American sits in a wheelchair.
But giving up is out of the question for Kevin Taylor. He does not complain, he accepts his fate, keeps telling himself "It could be worse" - and meets the love of his life. After a short while, the couple decides to give their relationship a new twist: they want to marry! A big step for everyone, an even bigger one for Kevin Taylor. For what his bride Kim does not suspect: Kevin Taylor secretly takes physiotherapy sessions to be able to walk a few steps with a prosthesis despite great pain in the leg.
