Barrocker dining place interpreted in a modern way

The Berg family wanted a space for their meals, which invites them to linger, is imaginative, bright and inspiring. Here is one of two suggestions from our living expert who may also like you.

As in the French country house: wood-paneled walls, discreetly accented with gray-blue wood glaze, give the room a nostalgic setting. Baroque tables and medallion chairs are richly decorated, and on the well-padded areas you sit downright royally. The dresser was glazed dark. Exuberant ornamental: The ceiling lamp made of punched acrylic glass is a reinterpretation of traditional chandeliers, the table lamp is reminiscent of a hunting trophy.
