Impressive lesson of an autistic boy

He was beaten up for no reason. But now the autistic boy gives his bully a lesson that impresses worldwide.

Teenagers can be incredibly mean. That's what Gavin Joseph experienced firsthand. The reason why they chose him as the victim is as simple as it is incomprehensible: The boy is a bit different. But what does it mean differently and who defines what normal means?

At the age of three, Gavin was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism. Always dealing with other people was a challenge for the boy, as his mother now reports in a Facebook post. But instead of accepting Gavin as he is, they use his introversion as a target.

So did a group of teenagers whom Gavin met one day on the way home. They made fun of him, teased him as crazy, because he is never in society and watching others. The next evening then the escalation: A boy who has heard the torment the night before, goes to act. "He did not ask questions, did not even know him, gave him no chance to get away, " the mother describes the situation. Supposedly Gavin was about to meet someone, but suddenly he was surrounded by a group of whipping teenagers. They took advantage of his isolation, shoved him around and beat him together to "learn his lesson".

The lesson: When Gavin comes home, his nose is broken, his face is covered in hematomas, he has a black eye. His mother writes to Facebook, the perpetrators have in the evening

Gavin does not charge. Instead, the autistic boy gives his mobbers a much deeper lesson and proves incredible maturity. He calls on his attackers to join a community service to watch a 20-minute video about Asperger's Syndrome, which Gavin himself created. After that they should write an essay about it.

The autistic boy's reaction to his terrible experience is impressive. Gavin proves strength and begins the Enlightenment, instead of taking revenge. He does not want to punish the bullies, he wants to animate society to more understanding. His mother supports her son. She wants to motivate families to talk to their children: "Explain to them that if they see someone alone, it may not be their own decision to be alone."

What to do if the child is bullied at school? That can help.
