Notes on the instructions:

SIZES
Hare: width about 18 cm, height about 16 cm.
Chicken: width about 18 cm, height about 16 cm.

ABBREVIATIONS
solid M = fixed mesh
hStb = half sticks
Warp = warp stitch (s)
Airm = air mesh (s)
M = mesh (s)
Rd = round (s)
Stb = chopsticks

GAUGE:
Stb in rounds with Catania Grande with crochet hook 4, 5 mm: 13 Rd = 8, 5 cm in diameter.
If the mesh size is different, use thicker or thinner needles.

BASIC TECHNIQUES:
Basic pattern: Crochet tr in solid or round sts in spiral round, while crocheting sts or fixed sts, ie there are no sts that replace 1st st at beg of round.
NOTE: When crocheting in Spiral-Rd, it is advisable to put a thread in a contrasting color after each round.
With this method, the number of M can be controlled better. Remove the thread after the end of the round and reload at the beginning of the round.

And this is how it's done:

Hare

Crochet the body, head and tail with Catania Grande in taupe with crochet hook 4.5 mm. Crochet the eye and the bow with Catania with crochet hook 3.0 mm.

Duplicate 1 st: Crochet 2 tr in the same position.

Crochet A for the paws: The crochet script shows several sts on the 4th round (= drawn in black) and the last crocheted 7 sts on the 5th round (= blue drawn). After the last tr in blue the red drawn M work, starting with 5 Luftm. Crochet 1 solid st in each st from the last 3 solid Ms drawn in red. Finally, crochet the paws in the 6th round (= drawn in black) as shown and end with 1 sl st.

Crocheted B for the ears: Crochet the ears in the back and forth over the following 9 tr of the pre-Rd (= black). First work the lower ear (= red) over the first 3 tr, starting with arrow a. Then crochet the upper ear (= blue), then connect with arrow b (= pierce and pull the thread through) and work the ear over the next 5 tr of the pre-round.

BODY:
Start in taupe with a magic ring (or 2 to 3 airm, with a warp closed to the ring).
ROUND 1: Work 1 solid sts, 1 h st and 13 tr in the Magic-Ring after 1 row of air = 15 sts.
2nd round: Duplicate every M = 30 tr.
3rd round: double every 2nd tr = 45 tr.
ROUND 4: Work 1 dtr, then 14 times every 3 dc, round to end = 60 tr.
5th round: = 10 times every 4th tr, then crochet 2 tr = 52 sts.
Then work the forepaws after crochet A.

HEAD:
1st and 2nd round: Work as described on the body = 30 tr.
3rd round: Work 12 times every other st, then crochet 1 st in stocking st, then crochet 1 st in sts.
